Authentication Types
Section titled “Authentication Types”If using the ProjectSight API with a client application created in the Developer Console, the Authorization Code authentication type is preferred and will work automatically. If you have a need to use the Client Credentials authentication type, you must initiate the process to have this access approved. That process can be initiated by emailing projectsightsupport@trimble.com with the client application ID and a brief explanation of why it is needed.
Scopes
Section titled “Scopes”If using the API with a client application created in the Developer Console, scopes define the access granted to a Trimble ID access token. Include only the scopes needed to enable intended functionality when performing an access token call.
