Point3Like

Point3Like = Point3d | [Numeric, Numeric, Numeric] | [Numeric, Numeric] | { x: Numeric; y: Numeric; z?: Numeric; }

Any value that can be interpreted as a 3D point.

Most API methods that accept a position take a Point3Like, letting you pass either a Point3d instance or a plain [x, y, z] tuple — whichever is more convenient. All coordinates are in inches (SketchUp’s internal unit).

// Translation accepts a Point3Like, so both of
// these do the same thing:

// => [10, 20, 0]
